1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FaangTalk ("the Service"), available at faangtalk.org and app.faangtalk.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
FaangTalk is a platform for technical interview preparation. It connects users with practicing engineers for mock interviews, feedback sessions, and related coaching services.
3. Accounts
You may need an account to use parts of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws;
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or interviewers;
- Record or distribute session content without the consent of all participants;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
5. Payments and Refunds
Some features of the Service are paid. Prices are shown before purchase. Unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase, fees are non-refundable once a session has taken place. If an interviewer fails to attend a scheduled session, you are entitled to a rescheduled session or a refund.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its content (excluding content submitted by users) are the property of FaangTalk and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you submit, and grant FaangTalk a limited license to use it solely to operate and improve the Service.
7. No Guarantee of Outcomes
FaangTalk provides interview practice and feedback. We do not guarantee employment, job offers, or any particular interview outcome.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FaangTalk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
